Food Allergies
One of the most common allergies seen in pets is food allergy. Most owners have done everything to control their pet’s occasional loose stool or cannot get the pet’s year-round scratching to stop or have been battling ear infections with this pet for months or years. You’ve tried everything but changing the pet’s diet. Pets can be allergic to any part of the diet, but more times than not it is the type of protein used in the food!
The worst is your pet could be eating the same food for years and then become allergic to it. Check with your vet to find the right diet to avoid your pet’s food allergies. And remember, it can take up to 8 weeks for improvement using the new diet.
