Asthma

Just like humans, our cats, can suffer from asthma.

If your cat has asthma, you know how difficult it can be to control their breathing problem. Here are some ideas to help the asthmatic cat breathe easier.

1. Use dust free litter.
2. Dust and vacuum the house more often.
3. Wash all bedding weekly - dust mites in the cat's and your bedding are big asthma factors.
4. Clean the bathroom with the cat out of the room - bathroom mold also causes a problem for
    asthmatic cats.
5. Humidity of 30% or above is recommended because dry air can cause asthma flare-ups.
6. Smoking is the house is a definite NO!
7. Keep all cats weight under control, especially those with any type of breathing problem.
