Cats Eat By Smell

If your cat is a picky eater, remember that a cat’s sensitive sense of smell determines if they like or dislike a food.  Loss of the ability to smell is why a cat with a head cold quickly loses interest in eating.  Placing warmed beef broth, chicken broth, or tuna water on the food is an easy way to keep your cat’s regular food “smelling” interesting.
