Flatulence
Flatulence or gas is usually caused by improperly digested food.

Some solutions are listed below:

  • No cheese or milk – pets are lactose intolerant.
  • Next, decrease the carbohydrates in the diet. Carbohydrates are full of sugar and starch that releases gas during digestion.
  • If your pet is still breezy, slowly change to a diet with less wheat, corn or soy as the main ingredient.
  • If your pet gulps down his food quickly or eats too much at one time, these could also lead to flatulence.
  • Another trick is more exercise – they still have to release the gas but the great outdoors can handle it better than indoors.
  • There are also anti-gas medications at the pet store or through your vet.
