The Ophthalmology service treats both common and uncommon eye disorders such as dry eye, cataracts, glaucoma, inflammation of the eye, tumors, eyelid abnormalities, and retinal diseases.
This service also performs breed certification eye examinations of purebred dogs. This annual diagnostic examination screens for inherited or congenital eye disorders so that breeding recommendations can be made.
