Summertime
Let's look at some common problems that cats can get into during the summer months.

The first thing you think about would be overheating in the 90-100 degree weather.

Surprisingly, most cats do fine as long as they have access to a shady place and plenty of fresh water. Longhaired cats, especially matted longhaired cats feel so much cooler if we have this winter coat clipped away.

With summertime, we make sure that cars don't overheat by keeping the radiator topped off with anti-freeze coolant. This anti-freeze has a sweet taste cats love. Less than a teaspoon ingested is deadly to a cat, so please clean up the spillage.
